Born from the belief that the food on our plates should nourish our bodies, the soil it grows from, the hands that harvest it and our creativity in the kitchen.
Founded by LAURA COYTE

disconnected from the seasons, the soil, and the hands that grow our food.
Convenience has replaced connection, and abundance has come at the cost of balance.

Eat the Land exists to change that. We believe the way we eat can restore what's been lost - reconnecting people to place, and food to its natural rhythm.
By eating seasonally and sourcing locally, we return to a way of eating that supports the land, the farmers who care for it, and the ecosystems that sustain us all. Every ingredient has a story - one shaped by weather, soil, and community.

Make eating in tune with the earth accessible.
By sharing a carefully designed weekly meal plan that celebrates the season, is nutritionally complete, and reduces waste. Through storytelling and education we bring the stories of the ingredients on your plate to life and connect us to food cultures, nourishment, diversity and awe for the natural world.

Each choice to eat the land as it grows is a small act of restoration, adding up to something much larger.

We Protect
By choosing in season and local we reduce our environmental impact from food miles and artificial growing conditions.
Our meal plans have a carefully curated menu that align to global conservation recommendations for a rhythm of eating that will support our natural world not deplete it.
We Support
By championing British farmers who work with nature, not against it, we help sustain practices that enrich the soil, restore biodiversity, and support rural communities.
Healthier land means more nutritious food, and produce straight from our local countryside connects us to our natural habitat, creating a cycle of mutual respect from farm to fork.

We Celebrate
Cooking is an expression of care and creativity, there is wonder in turning simple whole food ingredients into meals that can inspire, revive and comfort.
Our meal plans include thoughtfully selected recipes that are simple, delicious, and inspiring. With a shopping list that naturally reduces waste and avoids ultra processed foods your kitchen will be an organised, waste-free haven.
We Nourish
We encourage eating in rhythm with the seasons so our bodies receive food at it's freshest and most nutrient dense and reconnecting us with the cycles that sustain life.
Eat the Land meal plans follow nature's guidance to celebrate nutrient variety and are approved by a qualified nutritionist to ensure they provide you with all the macro and micronutrients needed throughout the week.

Laura Coyte
Eat the Land was founded by Laura Coyte as a practical solution to unite conservation, farming, nutrition and cooking.

Before creating Eat the Land, Laura worked at the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) providing her insight into how our current food systems are driving the degradation of our natural world.
She also experiences first-hand the challenges faced by farming communities, being a part of this life with her husband on their farm in Devon.
Even with this knowledge and experience, Laura found it difficult week after week, to plan, shop and cook meals that were seasonal, environmentally responsible, nutritious, affordable and low in waste.

Eat the Land grew from her desire for a solution that did the thinking for you, sharing recipes in a weekly collection that provides all the nutrition you need from whole foods, celebrates the seasons, and delivered in a tool that is both practical and beautiful.
For Laura, the magic lies not only in the food, but in telling the stories behind the ingredients helping us connect to every mouthful.

Bringing a deep understanding of both health and sustainability, Melanie guides the nutritional direction of Eat the Land. With a background in nutrition and years of experience advising on sustainable food systems, she helps bridge the gap between what's good for our bodies and what's good for the planet.
Her approach celebrates local, seasonal ingredients and empowers people to make choices that nourish themselves while reducing their environmental impact.
